Eflorapantnagar: Database of Local Flora of Pantnagar

摘要

Image comparison is a convenient and quick method of plant identification, however, essentially requires databases of authentically identified images of plants. Eflorapantnagar is an open online database of flowering plants of G.B. Pant University Pantnagar campus area containing identified images of 428 flowering plant species belonging to 308 genera under 88 families, 36 orders and 13 informal groups. This virtual flora may help in identification of local flora being a user friendly tool, thus initially attracting more students in plant taxonomy.
