Production and shipments of secondary aluminum and secondary aluminum alloys in the first half of 2014 declined 0.6% and 1.2% year on year to 415,362 tons and 418,427 tons respectively, the Japan Aluminium Alloy Refiners Association announced. Volumes hardly moved from the year- ago levels.
