Development of high performance worm wheel for electric power steering

摘要

Nowadays, consideration for environment and good use of natural resources are priority themesaround car industries. So that weight reduction of parts and improvement of fuel efficiency are theurgent problems to be solved. Therefore we developed high performance worm wheel for electric power steering. This wormwheel makes a electric power steering possible to be loaded in medium sized car. As compared with conventional hydraulic power steering system, electric power steeringsystem makes dramatic improvement of fuel efficiency.
