A Love Letter to Research

This month, I'm writing more than a column, I'm writing a love letter. To research. While I'm still smarting from the sting of the National Agricultural Statistical Service report that switched its survey research methodology so quickly the industry was left without a 2019 bellwether for domestic production (2019, USDA, Mushrooms), I want to sing the praises of the wonderful recent findings about mushrooms that we can be grateful for. As we read the headlines, let's look into the nuts and bolts thatwent in to creating them.
