Lectotypification of Boehmeria densiflora Hook. & Arn. (Urticaceae) and Hooker and Arnott's sets of duplicates from Captain Beechey's expedition

In their account of The Botany of Captain Beechey's Voyage, W. J. Hooker and G. A. W. Arnott established Boehmeria densiflora, providing a collecting locality, but without citing any collector or material. During studies of Boehmeria in India, it was found that no lectotype had been designated for this species. Therefore, the original material of this species was established and a lectotype selected. The present location of Hooker and Arnott's sets of duplicates from Captain Beechey's expedition is discussed.
