摘要

One of the essential environmental problems of today's world is the disposal of waste tyres. Among others, a perspective way is the preparation of soft plastics or thermoplastic elastomers via blending of ground waste tyre rubber (GTR) with molten thermoplastics. The most literature is devoted to mixing of GTR with non-polar thermoplastics. However, we assume also polar thermoplastics as polyamides are important because they are often contained in waste rubber as the rest of reinforcing materials. Therefore we prepared and tested thermoplastic/elastomer blends by blending of fine ground waste tyre rubber with polyamide 12. We focused mainly on the influence of various silane compatibilizers on the structure and properties of the resulting material.
