摘要

The dynamic response of reinforced rubber laminates is related to the viscoelastic properties of the constituent materials and to their distribution within the thickness in a quite complex manner. On the other hand, a knowledge of the overall behavior of the laminates under dynamic conditions is required to assess the stability of performances of components subjected to cyclic loadings as traction belts or in tires sidewall. By assuming the whole laminates as a non-linear viscoelastic element, a procedure for the characterization of their cyclic bending response is developed. Oscillating buckling dynamometry, which consists of a strain imposed dynamic mechanical analysis nicely mimic the behavior of a belt in an operating pulleys machine, has been developed and the force-strain is proposed and commented in terms of nonlinear viscoelastic parameters.
