摘要

The study of the mineralogical composition of coarse fractions of sod–podzolic soils and podzols in the eastern part of the Kostroma Trans-Volga region has confirmed one of the debatable versions of the location of the boundary between the glacial deposits of the Moscow and Dnieper ages in this area; the established position of the boundary expands the zone of mineralogically more favorable deposits of the Moscow age and soils formed on these deposits. Signs of destruction of weatherable minerals of coarse fractions in the podzolic horizon are revealed, indicating the role of this process in providing soils with mineral elements on poor glacial deposits.
