摘要

Small amount of Ni was added in the Gd50Co50 binary alloy to replace the Co element for improving the formability and magnetic properties of the binary amorphous alloy. It was found that the glass formability of the Cd50Co50 amorphous alloy was significantly improved by Ni addition. The Curie temperature (T-c) of the Gd(50)Co(50-x)Ni(x )metallic glasses decreases with the Ni addition, and the maximum magnetic entropy change (-Delta S-m(peak)) was also improved. The mechanism for the effect of adding a small quantity of Ni on the T-c and -Delta S-m(peak) of the Gd50C50 amorphous alloy was studied.
