Ethanol exports in March 2019 totalled around 532.7 mln litres, a threemonth high, but down 35% on the year. The March total included 249 mln litres shipped to Brazil, after 137 mln in February and 363 mln in March 2018. Canada took 86 mln litres against 95 mln last year. Shipments to India remained strong (40 mln litres against 45 mln in 2018). Around 11 mln litres were sent to South Korea against 51.0 mln a year earlier. Exports so far in calendar year 2019 totalled 1.456 bln litres, down 27% and the lowest for three years. The main destination was Brazil (531 mln litres vs 908 mln), followed by Canada (226 mln vs 257 mln), India (172 mln vs 98 mln) and South Korea (94 mln vs 82 mln). Around 58 mln litres went to the Arab Gulf, down from 118 mln.
