FAME exports in August 2020 amounted to 70,628 tonnes, a four-month high, up from 48,045 in July and 40,938 one year earlier, trade data show. This brought exports in the first eight months of calendar year 2020 to 378,002 tonnes, a seven-year high, up from 306,743, of which 340,068 (275,792) to Canada. Imports in August amounted to 37,330 tonnes, a 12-month low, against 49,630 in July and 32,020 one year earlier.
