World coffee futures ended marginally higher in the period under review as the markets see-sawed within well-known territory. The March arabica coffee settled 0.35 cent higher at 122.85 cents per lb, after hitting a seven-week low at 119.10 cents/lb amid a sizeable depreciation of the Brazilian real. The real fell to 3.26 from 3.15 during the past two weeks, making it attractive for producers to sell the dollar-traded commodity. May rose 0.15 cent to 125.05 cents/lb. The March robusta contract added$29 to settle at $1,804 per tonne, the highest since mid-January. May was up $15 at $1,770 a tonne. The arabica premium fell to 41.02 cents/lb from 41.99.
