Refugee and migrant well-being in the UK: post-migration challenges for those in exile - A qualitative study

This research paper follows an earlier literature review exploring the challenges faced by refugees and migrants in the post-migration period. The paper will utilise a cross-sectional qualitative methodology to explore the specific challenges faced by a group of refugee and migrant mothers living in the west of England, UK. The key themes explored will be related to social isolation, language barriers, discrimination, identity and culture, access to services, and housing. With increasing migration, this area of research is vital in ensuring the well-being, safety, and prosperity of displaced persons resettling in the UK.
