North American Tunnel Conference cancelled

The Underground Construction Association of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration (UCA of SME) said it was disappointed to announce that the North America Tunneling (NAT) 2020 Conference, originally scheduled to be held June 7-10 in Nashville, TN, was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In a press release, the UCA of SME said, "It is with the safety of all involved, coupled with the uncertainty of what business and travel environments will look like in June that the difficult decision was made to cancel this biennial event.
