Trenton-Black River, Dundee continue to set oil production pace in Michigan in 2019

Michigan operators reported the production of 4,847,436 barrels of crude oil and 83,698,139 Mcf of natural gas in 2019, down by 8% and 7%, respectively, from the totals of oil and gas produced in 2018. The list of leading companies in operated production of both crude oil and natural gas (see tables, page 8) look very similar between 2018 and 2019, led by West Bay Exploration and Lambda Energy Resources on the oil side and Riverside Energy Michigan and Maverick Natural Resources subsidiary BreitBurn Operating LP on the natural gas side.
