摘要

Abstract In this work, we review the main phenomena that have been explored in OCT angiography to image the vessels of the microcirculation within living tissues with the emphasis on how the different processing algorithms were derived to circumvent specific limitations. Parameters are then discussed that can quantitatively describe the depth‐resolved microvascular network for possible clinical diagnosis applications. Finally, future directions in continuing OCT development are discussed.
