摘要

This paper shows some experimental researches to obtain Zn-Fe alloy coatings focusings on the hot zinc plating, which feature properties are compliance with the marchet requirements. In order to obtain Zn-Fe alloy coatings,, zinc hot plated sample were heated up to 500-650 deg C in an electical furnace. This favoured the diffusion of Fe into the layer until copplete disappearance of the pure zinc phase and the forming of Zn-Fe alloys The compositions, structure and proprietes zinc-fier coatings are depending on the temperature and duration of the treatment. The transformation in the layer begin from 530-550 deg C at times longer 1-3 minutes, when "zinc-flowers" disappear while the color changes from silver to opaque grey.
