The protection of metallic load at casting-alloys elaboration, using recoveries, when the alloys have a magnesium content, is a real problem, this protection is intended to prevent the loss of magnesium by oxidation. Some results concerning the technological means to protect magnesium are presented in case of alloys obtained by recovery and recycling of alluminium alloys and by processing the slogs so obtained.
