The Center Street Parking Garage in Berkeley, Calif., has been hailed by Mayor Jesse Arreguin as "probably the greenest parking garage in California" thanks to its environmentally sustainable features. Located in the heart of Berkeley's Arts District, the new parking garage replaced a 1950s-era garage that was too small and deemed below current-day seismic safety standards.
