Neurology is a diverse field of study and care. Neurology patients suffer from a wide range of medical problems (eg, migraines, Parkinson disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy) and receive treatment with a wide range of therapeutic modalities (eg, analgesics, antiepileptic agents, dopamine agonist, biological agents). This issue of Advances in Pharmacy looks at the new treatments for Parkinson disease, multiple sclerosis, and insomnia. In addition, articles that evaluate some of the advances in the treatment of HIV dementia, migraines, neuropathies, and the new sustained-release formulation of hydromorphone.
