Pacific Grove, California, to Host the International Conference on Shape Memory and Superelastic Technologies

For the first time, the International Conference on Shape Memory and Superelastic Technologies is being run and organized by SMST as an affiliate society of ASM International and as such, is expected to attract a wide and diverse participation from the engineered materials community including industry and academia. This year's event will encourage and develop the practical engineering aspects of shape memory alloys. SMST is the International Organization on Shape Memory and Superelastic Technologies. SMST 2006 will held May 7-11, 2006 at the beautiful Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove, California, just outside the famous Pebble Beach Resort.
