Eurofighter Typhoon resumes flight tests

With the U.S. Joint Strike Fighter contract now launched with Lock-heed Martin, the Eurofighter Partner Companies have resumed flight tests of the advanced Eurofighter Typhoon. The recent resumption of flight tests follows a lay-up period during which the aircraft avionics and power systems were significantly upgraded.The partner companies also are negotiating with the Netherlands on a 6.25 billion dollars aerospace industry production partnership if the Royal Netherlands Air Force chooses the Eurofighter as a replacement for its F-16 fleet. Active marketing campaigns also are being pursued in Greece, Norway, South Korea, and other Asian countries.
