New economic cycle to push green agenda

The humble bicycle has been much to the fore during the pandemic. We have heard how sales ofbikes of all kinds have shot up in recent weeks as people sought either exercise or alternatives to their usual transport - or both. In towns and cities, the growth in pedal power has been such that new cycle lanes have been installed and more roads closed to cars and lorries. Local authorities have responded to what people wanted during lockdown.
