Committee/Council and Canada/Europe Awards Luncheon will honor outstanding leaders

The outstanding achievements of leaders in the field of materials science and engineering will be recognized during Materials Week '96 by several organizational units of ASM. The awards will be presented at the Committee/Council and Canada/Europe Awards Luncheon, Monday, 7 October, during Materials Week '96 in Cincinnati. The ASM Materials Engineering Institute Distinguished Educator Award, the ASM Materials Engineering Institute Instructor of Merit Award, the G. A. Roberts Scholarship, and the N.J. Grant Scholarship will also be presented at the luncheon. Yet to be named at press time, information on these award and scholarship recipients will be printed in the October issue of ASM News.
