With the increased usage of silicon-based Nano and micro sensor-based micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) for different industrial applications, the demand for developing a cost-effective MEMS printing technology has increased. The production of silicon micro and nanosensors with today's technology needs a huge investment as the companies have to invest in developing full-scale cleanroom facilities, which acts as a big obstacle for any small scale or start-up company. Cost-effective technology brings mass innovation capabilities to smaller companies and markets, for instance, inexpensive computers have dramatically increased innovation in information technology.
