摘要

Optical computers, which would use light, could be potentially much faster than conventional electronic computers. In order to create such state-of-the-art computers, devices that could store the light long enough to serve as memories for photonic circuits are necessary. One of the solutions that could address these needs are the microresonators. Nonetheless, these devices would require sub-angstrom accuracy with high repeatability, and moreover, should be manufactured in an inexpensive and efficient manner.
