Techfab Introduces C-Grid Short Roll Kits to Meet Cement and Concrete Reinforcement Demands

TechFab LLC has introduced two C-Grid~(TM) kit products designated as CT-300 and CT-550 to meet demands for reinforcements in the growing concrete countertop and interior structures markets. These are flexible carbon fiber composite grids individually packaged in economical 41-in wide by 75-ft long rolls for easy ground shipment, handling and storage. This takes C-Grid carbon fiber meshes immediately into the consumer home building market instead of hidden in the commercial construction market, a good thing when it comes to awareness for the benefits of carbon fiber and composites. The patented C-Grid reinforcements use a novel carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin based grid design. These grids are custom engineered for a variety of internal concrete reinforcement applications. C-Grid reinforcements replace typical materials such as galvanized wire, wire mesh and light steel rebar.
