Hardwire Reinforcements Used to Fortify IMF Building Against Blast Threat

Hardwire, LLC announced August 10 that its proprietary high-tensile steel fiber reinforcement products were used to enhance the protection of the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) facilities in Washington, DC against militant Islamic terrorist threats. "This facility was recently cited as a potential terrorist target in the national and global news," says Hardwire, LLC president and chief executive officer, George C. Tunis, "and we're very happy to report that our technology has already played a part in protecting the structure. When the news broke, we fortunately had the peace of mind that something had been done. It makes us feel good that we have contributed to the protection of the facility."
