Comptek Structural Composites Expands into the Telecom Infrastructure Market

Comptek Structural Composites, Inc. has developed and introduced new applications for reinforcing steel tower structures using carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composite strengthening materials. In early 2001, Comptek established a partnership with Paul J. Ford & Company of Columbus, OH to form Aero Solutions, LLC, a company focused solely on upgrading steel towers. Comptek brought to the partnership its FRP product and construction know-how, and Paul J. Ford brought a direct entry and knowledge of the tower market with the engineering experience of over 36,000 monopole 'and tower structures since 1976 for the communication and utility markets.
