ISBE-First Annual TISP Congress for Infrastructure Security in the Built Environment-November 5-7, 2002, Washington, DC

Following the tragic events of September 11,2001, a dedicated group of public and private sector organizations proposed the establishment of an "association of associations and agencies," a partnership, to collaborate on issues related to the security of the United States' built environment. The name of this organization is The Infrastructure Security Partnership (TISP), the sponsor of the November Congress. The Built Environment includes the major components of our infrastructure-civil structures such as highways, bridges, dams; water systems; electrical systems; building systems; and much more.
