Machinery Update finds that equipment suppliers from all sectors are dialled in to the sustainability debate and are developing new options for fmcg customers as well as changing their own business practices. Nine year's ago, this magazine put together its first feature on sustainability and quite frankly, it was hard work getting information out of machinery suppliers about what they were doing in terms of environmental issues and sustainability. It was fair to say that not many had even 'heard of it' let alone factored it into their business planning or NPD programmes.
