Renishaw inspiring engineers of the future

Global engineering technologies company Renishaw offers an extensive 'education outreach programme' that includes support from 139 STEM ambassadors - apprentices, graduates and engineers at Renishaw - who volunteer to support a variety of activities with local schools. Their aim is to inspire young people to pursue the opportunities in an engineering- or technology-related career by offering practical advice, based on their own experiences. This year, Renishaw will host over 65 events and workshops for young people, assisted by the STEM ambassadors. These will target students from ages nine to 18 and will focus on developing problem-solving skills, team building and product design. Students will also learn how Renishaw operates and what the company can offer in terms of career opportunities.
