Linde to build stations for Korea Expressway, LH_2 unit for Hyosung

Linde Korea has signed a 15-year contract with Korea Expressway Corporation to build, own and operate four hydrogen refueling stations in South Chungcheong Province, on South Korea's west coast. Linde has also signed a deal with Hyosung Heavy Industries to build what they say will be the world's largest liquefied hydrogen (LH2) plant when it is completed in 2022. The hydrogen stations in South Chungcheong Province are expected to enter service with Korea Expressway in December, and will be supplied with hydrogen from Linde's manufacturing facility near Pyeongtaek. Linde is a member of the board of directors of the Korea Hydrogen Alliance (H2 Korea), established in 2017 to promote and establish the national hydrogen ecosystem through supporting policy, infrastructure and technology development [FCB, May 2018, p8].
