FERC Issues Notice of EA for Sabine Pass LNG’s Third Berth Expansion Project, Comments Due September 23

The Commission issued a notice August 23, that its staff has prepared an environmental assessment (EA) for Sabine Pass LNG, LP’s (CP19-11) Third Berth Expansion Project. Comments are due to the Commission on or before September 23. Sabine Pass filed an application Oct. 29, 2018, under Natural Gas Act section 3(a) for authorization to site, construct, and operate an expansion of the existing Sabine Pass liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility, in Cameron Parish, Louisiana on the Sabine Pass Channel. The proposed expansion of the terminal includes the addition of a third marine berth and supporting facilities.
