FERC Grants Extension of Temporary Waiver of Capacity Release Regulations to Noble Energy and CNX Gas Co.

The Commission, on October 31, issued a letter order to Noble Energy, Inc. and CNX Gas Co., LLC (RP17-159) granting their 8/14/17 joint petition for an extension of the Commission's 11/22/16 grant of Noble and CNX's request for a waiver of FERC's capacity release regulations to clear the way for a complex transaction that will unwind a joint gas development venture in the Marcellus region in Pennsylvania and West Virginia and facilitate independent marketing of production.
