FERC Accepts and Suspends Transco’s Tariff Filing on Cash-Out Provisions

The Commission issued orders March 30, accepting and suspending Transcontinental Gas Pipeline Co., LLC’s filings to revise Section 15 ((RP20-618) and Section 25 (RP20-614) of the General Terms and Conditions of Transco’s Tariff, to be effective Sept. 1, 2020, subject to refund and the outcome of a hearing. In its February 28 filings, Transco sought to revise the cash-out reconciliation mechanism to establish a refund or surcharge rate designed to return to or recover from customers any over- or under-recovery of costs incurred under the cash-out provisions of the tariff during an annual period.
