PHMSA Issues Three Final Rules, Gains Praise From INGAA, AGA

From the better-late-than-never category, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) issued three final rules on pipeline safety that address Congressional mandates from the Pipeline Safety Act of 2011 and other measures that Congress and the oil and natural gas industry have been waiting on for quite a while. The pipeline sector had positive initial reactions, with the American Gas Association (AGA) and the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) praising issuance of the final rules.
