摘要

Design: Systematic review. Data sources: The authors used PubMed and Web of Sciences to conduct a systematic search from 1998 to 2013 using the following combined terms: augmentative, alternative, communication, intervention, and autism, functional communication training (FCT), and device. The search was not restricted to publication dates, geographic areas, language, study-design, or quality criteria.
