One of the questions get from people in the industry most often is, "Why do you tell the flooring world the things you know that separate you and make your company better?" My answer is very simple: I do not want to see our industry go the way of other family-run businesses - like the appliance, electronics and furniture companies. Nor do I want to see service take backstage in flooring like it has in companies like Best Buy which really has no brick and mortar competition in most markets so their execs now do only what is cost effective and not what is best for the customer.
