Latest update on surfactants events

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact the schedule of surfactants-related conferences and tradeshows.While many such meetings have been postponed or cancelled outright,an increasing number have been converted into online events.Among the latest changes,IESD China-International Exhibition on Surfactants & Detergents 2020 has unsurprisingly been postponed again and will now be held 13-15 May 2021 in Shanghai(http://www.iesdexpo.com).Reed Exhibitions has postponed in-cosmetics Asia to November 2021 in Bangkok but has introduced a global online event running 6-8 October(http://www.in-cosmetics.com/virtual),while the Formulation Summit will go ahead online on the slightly later dates of 17-18 November.The Home and Personal Care Ingredients(HPCI)series has been cancelled for 2020,with the yearly schedule resuming in 2021(http://www.hpci-events.com),but the annual SEPAWA Congress is currently on track to be held in late October(http://sepawa-congress.de).ICIS has converted its 2020 programme of surfactants conferences and training into online experiences and will release more information soon on the virtual editions of its European and Asian surfactants conferences(http://www.icisevents.com/ehome/index.php?eventid=200176800&).In the UK,all BACS training courses for 2020 have been postponed(http://www.bacsnet.org).
