Modern Dispersions Inc(MDI)is stepping up its capacity for making thermoplastic compounds and masterbatches at its plants in Georgia and Massachusetts.The company was founded in 1967 by Mr Janos Kozma,a first-generation Hungarian immigrant.Originally,production was based in Ashburnham,MA,but it moved to Leominster,MA(70 km west of Boston)in 1983.The company’s second plant was opened at Fitzgerald,GA(270 km southeast of Atlanta)in 1987.MDI is best known as a supplier of black plastic masterbatches.It also supplies conductive concentrates and compounds,wood polymer composites and a wide variety of colou,speciality,and additive products.
