Could traceability silence critics?

In a newspaper article(Feb.21 2020)in the UK's Financial Times,Jancis Robinson,its respected wine connoisseur,laid down the gauntlet to the glass industry.In the article she called on wine consumers to ditch glass and adopt other packaging forms.The premise being that glass bottles and their transport are the biggest culprits when it comes to carbon footprints.Robinson claimed,”...it would make a massive difference to wine's impact on the earth's atmosphere if glass bottles were dispensed with...”and”What is needed is a big change in consumers’perceptions of glass bottles.”
