Lithuania: Metso plans polyurethane plant

Finland-based Metso plans to establish a 3000t/yr polyurethane (PU)plant in Siauliai in 2020.PU produced at the plant will be used in insulation.The company says that the plant,which will also produce 4000t/yr of rubber,will create 200 jobs.Metso currently employs 91 Lithuanians at its Vilnius Business Services Centre,which opened in October 2019.
