Chiba power plant upgrade will deliver more power, flexibility and higher efficiency

JFE Steel Corporation has expanded the capabilities of its Chiba Power Plant, installed by GE Power, and has signed a 15-year O&M contract with GE for the plant. As part of a multi-year agreement GE will provide O&M support at the facility for the next 15 years, providing onsite personnel and consultation to JFE on its plant operations.
