Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry data shows that production of LNG after vaporization between January and August 2019 declined 1.6% to 1,036 billion MJ (same period last year: 1,053 billion MJ). Incidentally, production for 2018 (January through December) declined 1.1% year on year to 1,559 billion MJ.
