UK'S OFFSHORE OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY VOWS TO HALVE OPERATIONAL EMISSIONS BY 2030

THE INDUSTRY BODY for offshore oil and gas in the UK has published plans for halving emissions from production and exploration within a decade,but green groups say there must also be stronger accountability for indirect emissions.In a June report,Oil & Gas UK (OGUK) states that its members with offshore oil and gas operations in UK waters have jointly committed to the industrywide 2030 target and a shared roadmap to reach it.
