Mineralisation workshop

11-12 May, Glenhove Conference Centre The GSSA hosted a well-attended workshop on magmatic sulphide and chromite ores presented by Prof Rais Latypov of Wits University and visiting Prof Steve Barnes from CSIRO, UniversityofWestern Australia. The objective of the workshop was to provide an account of the current understanding of magmatic Ni-Cu-PGE and chromite deposits and the magmatic processes involved in their formation, as well as some of the gaps in our understanding and areas of current research.
