India latest region to approve Praxair-Linde deal

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the proposed mega-merger of equals between Praxair and Linde, subject to certain conditions. "CCI_India approves combination of Linde and Praxair, subject to compliance of certain modifications," the fair trade regulator said in a tweet. The CCI received a notice filed by Linde Aktiengesellschaft and Praxair on 11th January (2018) in relation to their $70bn merger under a newly incorporated holding company Linde Pic.
