Wayne Machine & Die Company manufactures laboratory and small scale production extrusion systems for wire and cable insulation and fibre optic sheathing. Plastic, silicone and rubber extruders are available in all sizes. The lines include pay-off, extruder(s), crosshead die, water troughs, puller/capstan and winder. The lines are available with master reference drives and/or full laser control systems with SPC capabilities. All of the line components are also available as individual components. Custom-built heavy-duty extruders are manufactured for 24-hour production applications in sizes from 3/8" for ultra fine wire up to 6" for high output production cable applications. Floor model extruders are supplied with overhang 'L' panels for easy access to the control instruments.
