I met with Representative Lipinski first, along with his chief of staff. They gave us an extra 15 minutes which didn't work out for the NAM representative since she missed her next appointment. I think Lipinski gave us the extra time because he had just introduced a manufacturing bill and wanted our support. There were four in the group, plus a leader and the NAM representative. The leader did a great job in presenting the NAM talking points which left the rest of us to speak our minds and my mind was on GHS/OSHA. I was actually given between five and ten minutes because they couldn't believe what I was telling them. Since the GHS/OSHA is not a new rule it was never presented to Congress so they had no idea! The chief of staff (Eric Lausten) was very sharp and took a lot of notes. I received an email from him when I got back and he promised to look into it (although I'm not sure what he can/will do).
